First VR game made in Unity
As an assignment for the school’s 3rd semester, me and a small group of 3 others were tasked with making a VR exercising game, aptly named “Excergaming”.
Our submission was a roguelike / dungeon crawler, where the player has to traverse room after room, which switch between high intensity exercises, and resting puzzles.
Various ideas of the rooms were following a line of light towards the door to open it, picking up and shaking 4 pots you need to stretch for, aiming and shooting through gaps to hit targets, jumping over moving bars, etc.
The end product was shown at a tech market at school, where students could try out the products other students had made. The reception was mixed leaning to positive, and we had taken the constructive critisism to further improve the product.
