I am Nick Hellstern, 21 years, and at the moment a 4th semester student at Fontys Hogeschool ICT in Tilburg. I have a love for the Japanese culture, and I am a big cat person.
I have been a great fan of video games ever since I was 8, with my first favorite games being Team Fortress 2 and Rocket League. I also joined the Junior Helpdesk at my high school in order to help people with computer issues.
I started working with Unity ever since one of my favorite puzzle games gained mod support, which means you could make your own puzzles that others could play.
Ever since then, I have always dreamt of making my own games for people’s enjoyment, and also to express my own creativity. And so when I finished my HAVO, I enrolled in Fontys ICT to really hone my programming skills.
The works below are all of the works that I have made during my studies at Fontys
A little robot made by an old toy manufacturer is tasked with helping the citizens see more than what is just on their phone screens.
A Ten Miles side event, where you need to keep completing tasks on your phone in order to stay in the race.
A group of government funded hackers goes to investigate an immense cyberthreat on the city's infrastructure in order to control the situation, when the situation backfires on them completely and frames them as the source of the cyberattack instead.
A VR exercising game set in an old Egyptian tomb. Traverse the tomb while completing intense challenges and complex puzzles.
